Contextualization and relevance of the project
Nowadays, tourism is one of the most important economic and
cultural activities with which a country or a region can count.
Tourism refers to all the activities, which relate with knowing
and enjoying new spaces. Tourism can represent many variations due to the
different types of tourism: cultural, adventure, entertainment, relax, etc. In
the same vein, there are also different publics for those kinds of tourism: young,
families, old age, couples, friends, etc. All those types of tourism and
tourists have place in our project, since all of them are within rural Spanish
environment.| Sella River |
The importance of this activity lies in two main foundations. On
one hand, movement and economic recovery that it generates in the specific area
is carried out.
On the other hand, tourism has another foundation which might be called sociocultural. In that way, the importance of tourism will lie in the fact that it´s through you: human can get a close look and live other cultures, other societies, other ways of living and other geographical conditions. While this may have been known in many ways, only through tourism people can interact directly with those different realities: thisis one of greatest gifts you could ever give to your own culture and personal experience.
Description
We have decided to create this project in order to combat the
current economic crisis and to improve the cultural growth in the rural areas
of Spain, promoting the tourism.
Concretely, promoting efficient tourism projects means that, on
one hand, the interested areas can take benefits from the increasing incomes,
employments, urbanization, investments; on the other hand, from the
acculturation phenomenon, that can be translated in a multicultural exchange
and a deepening process of the knowledge.
